When can guest protection help?
Guest protection gives you financial benefits and professional support if a covered situation comes up before or during your travels, such as:
- Cancelling your trip after unexpectedly coming down with a covered illness
- Taking care of a traveling companion with a covered illness or injury
- Having to end your trip early due to a covered family emergency
- Dealing with a covered flight delay or cancellation
- Needing to buy personal items if your luggage is lost, damaged, stolen or delayed
- Missing your cruise departure after a covered flight delay

For your convenience, the Guest Protection Program premium will be reflected on the invoice for your A&K journey. To enroll in the program, simply pay the amount indicated along with your trip deposit, or at any time until (or with) final trip payment.
Get even more flexibility with Cancel Anytime
For even more ways to use your benefits, you can purchase guest protection with a Cancel Anytime feature. What’s the difference? Both the standard and Cancel Anytime plans include a generous list of covered reasons. You must be cancelling for one of the specific reasons listed in your plan documents to be eligible for up to 100% cancellation reimbursement. The Guest Protection Plan with Cancel Anytime must be paid for within 14 days of the initial trip deposit. With the Cancel Anytime feature, you can get reimbursed up to 75% of your investments if you need to cancel for virtually any other reason not listed in your plan documents.

To make unforeseen issues easier for you and your traveling companions, guest protection features benefits that can provide cash reimbursement, emergency care support, 24-hour assistance, and more. Travel at ease with plan benefits and services such as:
- Trip cancellation reimbursement
Get cash back for your prepaid, non-refundable trip expenses if you must cancel your trip due to a covered reason. - Trip interruption reimbursement
Reimburses the unused, non-refundable portion of your trip expenses and the additional transportation costs required to continue your trip or return home if you need to interrupt your trip for a covered reason. -
Travel delay
Compensates up to $300 per person, per day for additional travel or lost prepaid expenses if your trip is delayed for five or more hours due to a covered reason. -
Baggage delay
Reimburses the reasonable additional purchase of essential items during your trip if your baggage is delayed or misdirected by a travel supplier for the number of hours specified in your plan documents—just provide receipts for emergency purchases. Even better, you can opt to receive a $100 payment with no receipts required—just proof of the covered baggage delay. -
Baggage loss/damage
Provides benefits for the loss, damage or theft of baggage and personal items throughout your trip. -
Emergency medical and dental
This primary benefit provides reimbursement for expenses incurred during your trip due to covered medical and dental emergencies. -
Emergency medical transportation
Provides benefits for the cost of medically necessary transportation to the nearest appropriate facility and can also provide benefits for the cost of your transportation back home following a covered illness or injury. -
24-hour assistance by phone

Free look period
If you’re not completely satisfied with your plan, you have 15 days (or more, depending on your state of residence) to request a refund, provided you haven’t started your trip or initiated a claim. Premiums are non-refundable after this period.

Custom-designed protection plans with higher maximum benefits are available to suit the needs of A&K Private Jet Journeys and Inspiring Expeditions by Geoffrey Kent guests. Protections include trip cancellation, changes, or interruption; emergency medical, dental, and transportation; travel delay; and baggage loss, damage, or delay benefits.
